Hye! We are an audiovisual production company from Lyon, France and we are producing two documentary films on European urban children and urban spaces dedicated to them. I allow myself to contact you because we need your advices, contacts, tracks, ideas to found a couple of persons to interview in Hammarby Sjöstad: an urbanist, an architect, an appartement designer(that they've worked in Hammarby Sjostad district), a school principal, a child (11- 15 years).
In our films, the intent is not to describe a general statistic, not to lecture, but to offer a special lightning on the subject "cities as centre of our future" and "children as centre of our cities". Are children ignored in the cities? No, but there is obvious that political and economical interests dominate urban transformation.
We chose four western countries to illustrate our intentions: France (the future sustainable district Lyon Confluence), Italy, Sweden (the ecological project Hammarby Sjöstad) and Germany (the Vauban district).
We plan to come a couple of days to shoot the interviews in automne 2010.
